John Reu in concert

I was born in Willard, Ohio and lived there for the first 18 years of my life. When I was 15, I started high school at a new school; this new school was Mansfield Christian School, which was about 45 minutes away from my home. So I had 1½ hours of driving every day.

I have been making webpages since I've been in seventh grade. To read about my past web experience, go here

When it was time to choose a college, I ended up choosing Huntington College, and my major is Communications (Broadcasting).

I haven't traveled too awfully much. Probably the most exotic place that I've been to is Florida. I was there for a week when I was in 8th grade. I have never been to England, but I think that they use £ instead of $ as currency.

I've also been on school-related field trips to:

  1. Washington DC
  2. Chicago
  3. Williamsburg
  4. Gettysburg

After graduation, I really don't know what I want to do. Right now it's looking like something in the communications field; my top choice right now would be TV production of some sort. I think it'd be cool to produce a show for ABC or NBC.

My favorite class in high school was radio. My high school was one of I think only 4 Christian schools in the country with our own 24 hour radio station. Our call letters were WVMC. (VMC = Voice of Mansfield Christian) The general manager for our radio station was Matt Hahn. He was also the teacher of all the radio classes.
